soccer-basketball
Players: 2 or 3
Object: be the first to 10 baskets (or other set amount)
Materials: basketball or other large ball
This is one of my favourite games due to the skill it takes and because it's just plain fun. It can be a little confusing and tricky at first but with a little practice it becomes easier and quite enjoyable)
To start, set the basketball net to one of its higher settings. Then place the ball in the middle of the trampoline. Begin bouncing; you double bounce the ball to dribble. You may also touch the ball with your feet and knees to boost it in the air or shield it from another player. You may use your hands in this game in two ways... To keep it from going off the tramp when your feet can't shield it and when you shoot. There’s a twist to this though. When you shoot your feet may not be touching the tramp. This is most likely the trickiest part of the game. You may not use your hands to block a shot. Each basket is worth 1 point. 10 points is the game.
IMPORTANT: When you land on your knees never look up, as this curves your back, and when landing this can cause whiplash causing large amounts of pain or injury. Just about every tramp user I've known has felt the back burning phenomena including myself. Instead land looking down, or on your hands and knees. Never with your back arched. Trust me, it hurts
Tube soccer
Players: 3-6
Object: be the first to 10 points
Materials: chalk, inner or boating tube.
Take the chalk, draw lines to divide the tramp into as many parts as there are players.
Each player takes a section; the tube goes in the middle. On the count of 3 all the players jump to the middle and using they're feet they try to keep the tube off their section of the tramp, and try to knock it off the tramp, on they’re opponents section. If the tube goes of your side, all of the other players get 1 point. If it falls off your side, it is your turn to serve it, to put it back into play, by kicking it. There are 3 difficulty settings. Easy- Use just your feet and legs
Medium- Hands are allowed, no grabbing, just pushing.
Hard- Anything allowed.
TuberX
Players: 3-6
Object: pull moto-x type tricks, while trying to stay on a bouncing inner tube.
Material: Inner tube
Find an inner tube, which you can sit in w/out your bum touching the ground, and that you can, hold onto while your sitting, easily, and comfortably/. One person sits in the tube while the others double bounce the tube, very high. The person in the tube tries to do no-handers, or Indian airs ECT. If they fall out it's the next persons turn. If a person gets off to a bad start and starts bouncing unevenly, give them a restart. ENJOY!
Bull Riding
Players: 1 rider, 2+ bouncers
Object: Stay on the "bull" for 8 seconds
Materials: Thick foamy bed mattress. Large belt, or rope. Watch.
Roll up the foamy, so it's in a round, fairly large cylinder shape, if your foam mattress isn't thick enough, try stuffing it with pillows. Wrap the belt around the foam, off-center, and closer to the front. This is now your "bull". Have one person, sit on the bull, holding onto the belt with one hand. The other hand may not touch anything. Have the other people double bounce the bull and rider. Have one of the bouncers time how long the bull rider stays on.
Pig in a blanket
Players: 1 rider, 2+ bouncers
Object: Have fun
Materials: 1 thick foam bed mattress, long belt, or rope.
Wrap up the rider in the foamy, making sure his head is inside. Tie it up with the belt. Double bounce the rider.
Right (or left) leg wrestling
Players: 2or 3
Object: Make your opponents free leg, touch the tramp.
Materials: optional shin pads or newspaper.
Choose a leg to jump on and a leg that you must keep from touching the tramp. Make your opponents free leg, touch the tramp. You may only use your free leg for this. You may switch legs after you lose.
Headtap
Players: 2 or 3 (more for tournament)
Object: to get the other people out of the game, leaving you the winner
This is a very simple game. The 2 or 3 players- I recommend 2 players get on the tramp. Then they simply try to touch another person on top of the head without getting touched on the head them selves. You should bounce really high in this game for maximum fun:-) you are eliminated from the game after your head has been touched 3 times. (Or other number you choose). Tournament rules state that you can't grab another persons arm. No tripping or pulling out legs. You can link hands or push another persons arm away from your head but no grabbing. These are tournament rules but you can play anyway you want. EXTREMELY FUN
Boot the shoe
Players: 2-4
Object: Hit the other players, with shoes.
Materials: As many shoes as you can find.
Load the tramp up with shoes. Jump around on the tramp and “boot” or kick the shoes, at your opponents. You can keep score if you want to by seeing who got hit the least once all the shoes are off the tramp. Or give each player a set number of lives, and once they’ve been hit that many times they sit off. If there are extra players they can throw the shoes back on the tramp, when they fall off.
Guard
Players: 3+
Object: Get and stay on the trampoline.
Materials: a ball
This works like dodge ball but only 2 people go on the tramp, and only one of them may be hit. The other person on the tramp is the guard. The guards’ job is to protect the other player on the tramp from being hit by getting in front of the ball. If the person being guarded is hit.
Freak on a Leash
Players: 3+
Object: get and stay out of the middle.
2 players are in the middle one is the freak, who tries to tackle the players on the tramp. The other one is the leash, who holds onto the freaks legs, trying to keep the freak from attacking others. If the freak escapes the leash, the leash can catch the freak again. Every so often the players on the outside might yell “let the freak off the leash!” Then the leash must let go of the freak, and try to catch him again after 10 seconds, counting… 1 mississippi 2mississippy ect.
There are 2 ways to play, 1 of them after you are tackled by the freak, you choose a new freak and a leash.
In the other way, the freak must tackle all the other players (except for the leash) to win. In this way when you are caught by the freak, you must lay down for a set amount of seconds (varies depending on how good the leash is or how hard you want it to be). When all outside players are down at the same time the freak wins. When playing this way, when the freak is released the leash can only catch the freak again after it has tackled someone.
Mummy Hunter
Players: 3+
Object: Kill all the mummies without them bringing you down.
Materials: A sword. You can use a pool noodle, or something else. I like to use a bunch of newspaper rolled into a sword.
To start the game, elect one person as the mummy hunter; the rest of the players become the mummies. All of the players go on the tramp; the mummy hunter goes in the middle. The mummies try to bring down the mummy hunter to the tramp. The mummies are not allowed to grab the sword. If the mummy hunter, hits a mummy in the lower back with the sword; that mummy must lay on the tramp not moving. That mummy can count to 40 as fast as he can. When he hits 40 he comes back to life. The mummy hunter wins if all the mummies are dead at the same time. The mummies win if they take down the hunter.
Sticks
Players: 3+
Object: be the first one to lie down perfectly after you hear the word sticks.
Okay this may seem like a dumb game, when I made it I thought it would be dumb and play it like once. But surprisingly it has become a favourite, among quite a few people I know, probably because it takes next to no energy and involves quick reflexes.
Everyone stands on the tramp with their hands at their sides. On of the people is the leader, they may want to tell a story, or just say random words. When the people hear the word stick or sticks, they all throw them selves down, and try to lay perfectly still and flat. The last person who is still moving, loses, and becomes the leader. If everyone throws themselves down on a word that is not stick or sticks, then the last person to stand back up loses. Words like stickers, and sticking, don’t count. The players may try to fake each other out.
