Tramp Baseball
Players: 2+
Object: to get as many runs around the tramp as possible.
Materials: bat, ball, gloves
This game works like real baseball with teams batting, or outfield.
The only person on the tramp is the batter. The pitcher will throw to the batter and the batter will hit the ball. Then the batter should drop the bat off the side of the tramp, and then make as many runs around the edge of the tramp (still on the tramp) as he/she
can, until the outfielders touch the ball to the tramp. (No throwing at the tramp) Go until all of the batters hit. Then switch teams.
Tramp basketball
Players: 2
: Big Dunks
Players: 1-6 or more
Object: show off your skills
Materials: small basketball, soccer ball, or other ball which can be held in one hand
This is not really a competitive game. Simply lower your basketball net to a comfortable setting, and take turns showing off and sharing different slam dunks.
: bump (bball)
Players 2-6
Object: to eliminate the other players
Materials: 2 basketballs
Players line up, with the first 2 people in line with the balls. The 1st player takes a shot, and then the next person in line is allowed to shoot. If you miss your first shot keep shooting till you get it in, unless you are eliminated. If the person that shoots behind you gets the ball in before you do, you are out of the game. Dunking is allowed. This game can be played with the line starting on or off the tramp.
: slamball (bball)
Players: 2
Object: to get the most points.
Materials: a basketball, or other ball.
This game has a shooter, and a slammer. Shooter, stands at the edge of the trampoline in front of the net. The slammer stands between the net and the shooter. The net should be at a level just within reach of the slammers outstretched fingers. The shooter gains 2 points if the ball makes it past the slammer and through the hoop. The slammer gains 2 points if he intercepts the ball and scores a basket. A shot that does not go in results in a loss of a point for whoever touched the ball last. Once there have been 3 misses the shooter and slammer trade places.
soccer-basketball uAUTHOR'S PICKu
Players: 2 or 3
Object: be the first to 10 baskets (or other set amount)
Materials: basketball or other large ball
This is one of my favourite games due to the skill it takes and because it's just plain fun. It can be a little confusing and tricky at first but with a little practice it becomes easier and quite enjoyable)
To start, set the basketball net to one of its higher settings. Then place the ball in the middle of the trampoline. Begin bouncing; you double bounce the ball to dribble. You may also touch the ball with your feet and knees to boost it in the air or shield it from another player. You may use your hands in this game in two ways... To keep it from going off the tramp when your feet can't shield it and when you shoot. There's a twist to this though. When you shoot your feet may not be touching the tramp. This is most likely the trickiest part of the game. You may not use your hands to block a shot. Each basket is worth 1 point. 10 points is the game.
IMPORTANT: When you land on your knees never look up, as this curves your back, and when landing this can cause whiplash causing large amounts of pain or injury. Just about every tramp user I've known has felt the back burning phenomena including myself. Instead land looking down, or on your hands and knees. Never with your back arched. Trust me, it hurts
Lazy basketball
Players: 2-4
Object: pass the time while laying on your back on a warm tramp on a warm day.
Material: basketball or other lighter ball.
Lie on your back and take turns throwing the basketball in the net, keep score if you want to. Have a supply of balls so if the ball falls off you don't need to get it.
REJECTION!! uAUTHOR’S PICKu
Players: 3+
Object: Stop the other players from scoring a basket.
Material: Soccer, or Basketball. Basketball net.
This game gets its name because that’s what’s fun to yell after you slam a ball out of the air and into some ones face. To start the game, put the trampoline right beside the basketball net and lower the net to one of its lowest settings. Select one person to go onto the trampoline. That’s the goaltender. Their job is to stop the ball from entering the basket, by swatting it away. The rest of the people stand around the outside of the tramp. They work as a team to get the ball into the net by quick passing, fakes, high shots, and whatever it takes besides throwing the ball AT the goaltender. If the goaltender is doing too well, introduce another ball, or introduce rules such as “the goaltender is not allowed to touch the ball after it has hit the rim or backboard.
IMPORTANT: The goal tender should be careful to know where the rim is at all times or he is quite likely to hurt himself on it in some way.
Tramp volleyball
Players: 2 or 4
Object: Be the highest scoring team at the end of a timed game, or be first to a set amount of points.
Material: flagging ribbon, volleyball
Place your trampoline between two vertical poles, as in illustration, and string up the ribbon, directly above the center of the tramp. The teams stand on opposite sides of the "net". In order to start the game, one of the people must serve, by setting the ball over the net. No one may jump on the opening serve. After the serve the game continues by teams hitting the ball back and forth over the net. A point is scored by the ball landing on the tramp, on your opponents' side, or your opponent knocking the ball off of the trampoline. YOU MAY NOT: Hold the ball in your hands for more than 1 second.
Hit the ball 2 or more times with 1 person, before the ball passes from your side of the net (double hitting)
Reach your hand onto the opponents' side of the net.
: Blind volleyball
Players:
Object: see last instructions

Tramp Squash

Zoneball
Players: 2-4
Object: To be the first to 10 points
Material: Chalk, Large ball
This is a volleyball type game. Use the chalk to draw dividing lines on the trampoline. Divide trampoline into the same number of squares as there are players. Someone starts the game off by throwing the ball to another player. Then players hit the ball back and forth- it doesn't matter if it's in order. THE BALL MUST always arc. After leaving your hand, the ball must travel upwards before traveling down. It may not go straight down. (No spiking). YOU MAY NOT Spike the ball
Double hit
Reach your hand into an opponent square.
Hold the ball (keep it in your hand for more than a second
You can also play this with teams, 2 players on each side. Follow all the same rules. Only 1 hit per side.
Switch zone ball
Players: object: materials: same as last
The instructions are the same as the last game except after the ball is hit, each player must move to the square to the right of him.

Small ball
Players: 2-4
Object: Be the first to a set number of points.
Materials: Some kind of ball, like a v-ball. Chalk
Draw a line down the middle of the tramp. One player or team goes on one side, the other player or team goes on the other. You must hit the ball back and forth. The ball may only touch your side of the tramp once before it crosses the line again. If the ball hits twice on your side, your opponent gets a point.
You may not hit the ball with both hands at once, or hit the ball twice on your side (double hitting). You must stay on your knees, bum, or back at all times. You may not stand up.
Roofball
Players: 2
Object: Be the first to a set number of points
Material: one ball
Move your tramp to beside a sloped roof. The first player starts by throwing the ball on the roof, then the ball will roll back down to the tramp. The second player has to jump, grab the ball while it is in the air, and throw it back on the roof before his feet hit the ground again. If he messes up his opponent gets the point and the serve. Don't jump at balls that will make you jump on the ground. If you see that the ball is falling off the roof, and won't hit the tramp but will fall to the ground don't get it. If the ball hits the ground, it is a point and a serve for you.
Tube soccer uAUTHOR'S PICKu
Players: 3-6
Object: be the first to 10 points
Materials: chalk, inner or boating tube.
Take the chalk, draw lines to divide the tramp into as many parts as there are players.
Each player takes a section; the tube goes in the middle. On the count of 3 all the players jump to the middle and using they're feet they try to keep the tube off their section of the tramp, and try to knock it off the tramp, on they're opponents section. If the tube goes of your side, all of the other players get 1 point. If it falls off your side, it is your turn to serve it, to put it back into play, by kicking it. There are 3 difficulty settings. Easy- Use just your feet and legs
Medium- Hands are allowed, no grabbing, just pushing.
Hard- Anything allowed.
